    I moved to Maryland from Pennsylvania in May 2008. I was excited to be living close to family, especially when my niece was born in February 2009 and then my nephew in November 2011. When I first got to Maryland, I started off substituting in Howard County Public Schools until I landed a job with KinderCare! I love to watch the children start off in the infant room and grow into the school age classroom. When I'm not at KinderCare, I enjoy spending time with my family, making everything and anything (I'm very crafty) and seeing my friends, most of which I met when I first started working for KinderCare! I love being a Center Director and I strive to achieve that family feel when you walk into my building!

    I have worked in childcare for about 13 years. I started working with two years olds and loved every minute of it! I believe at this age they begin to come into their own person. I love to see the sparkle in their eyes. Although I didn't want to leave my babies, I knew that I needed to grow in my career and I wanted to become an Assistant Director. I also have two children of my own and a wonderful man in my life. The thing I love the most is spending time with my family.
